Company description:
After School Kids is a CYF approved OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) programme based at 14 Sheffield St, Palmerston North. We aim to provide a safe, stimulating programme in a homely and caring environment. Children from ages 5 - 13 years, both boys and girls, with varying cultural backgrounds are catered for in the After School Kids programmes. Individual interests and needs are evaluated and, where possible, included in the programme. The relaxed, homely environment of ASK encourages good behaviour, values manners and facilitates learning and fun.
After School Kids was created in February 2001 by Christina and Alistair McNeill. They felt that there was a need for quality OSCAR care in the area, especially for children aged 9 - 13 years. Christina has kept the programme philosophy alive throughout her years in business and ASK strives to be the best OSCAR programme in the area. Christina was awarded the Individual Category Regional Award at the National OSCAR Foundation Conference in 2007 for outstanding personal commitment to OSCAR.
