GKR Karate is probably the largest martial arts organisation of its kind in the world conducting just on 2000 classes every week throughout Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom & the U.S.A. Providing quality tuition in these classes is a strong and dedicated network of over 700 instructors – all of whom continue to refine their craft through our specialised training programs and coaching seminars.
One of the stand-out features of GKR Karate that sets it apart from 99% of other clubs is the professional way that the organisation is run. Over the years as the club has grown, a large emphasis has been placed on securing a strong administrative and managerial infrastructure to help drive the organisation behind the scenes. We are very aware that you can have the best karate in the world, but if you’re not professional in the way that you conduct your business, then you won’t have any students - no matter what your level of karate is! We’ve also managed to successfully keep the business side of the organisation separate from the karate, which means that the karate training itself is not compromised in any way.
