Currently we are recruiting a Specialist Ophthalmology Consultant for a leading private practice and regional Hospital.
You will join one other Ophthalmologist in this busy private practice. While the majority of the work undertaken will be within the private practice this post includes 2 - tenths appointment for clinical work within the public Hospital. The Eye Clinic is well equipped for general Ophthalmology, is ISO 9000
Accredited and has a paperless work environment with an information system developed by the clinic, now used extensively throughout Australasia.
This clinic has a unique funding structure with a uniprice policy for private and public sectors.
The location is close to lakes, mountains, forests, rivers, and the sea affords superior lifestyle and recreational opportunities.
Rock climbing, hiking, bushes walks, kayaking, boating, river rafting, golfing and more. There are also at least four ski fields within 1-2 hours drive.
The District has a temperate moderate climate with consistently high sunshine hours.

The successful applicant must be eligible for registration in New Zealand as a Medical Specialist and have formal training in Ophthalmology.
